Goddess of New Beginnings

The second in my Mask series, I quilted, painted and cut the basic mask shapes.  Then finding the batik background and accent fabric in my stash, I paper pieced border and feather designs to compliment the mask.  I love combining traditional quilting elements with funky, contemporary elements!  The eyes are dichroic glass buttons left over from garment construction days.
