PEACEFUL EVENING

2014

    For the background I hand dyed ombres/shaded fabric of some favorite colors.  It is pieced with a Fibonacci sequence technique I learned from Carol Bryer Fallert-Gentry,

    The cattails are turned edge machine appliqued with invisible thread over the background.

   Then extensive freehand machine quilted added for texture and loft.
