    After playing with various pole wrapping techniques & multiple dye colors, I pieced together my first SHIBORI wall hanging.  It was a challenge to place these strong, bold lines together to form the composition.

   Another challenge was to decide how to quilt these strong, bold lines.  I used Silk #100 weight thread and a double batting to obtain lots of texture.
