MIRIAM

     I took a class with Teri Henderson Tope on creating portraits using a simple straight stitch and free motion techniques.  I used the same portrait of my mother I had used earlier in a multi color/fabric quilt I named MIM.  

     This time using only black thread the result was quite different.  I love experimenting with various techniques to obtain a different look.
