ARPEGGIO

    Nine value gradations of one custom mixed color were used to dye the fabrics.  I used traditional and paper piecing techniques.

    The motifs in the center are dye painted using the same dye.  There is no applique on the quilt.

  Traditional trapunto technique used.  Double batting, freehand machine quilted with Silk #100 thread including custom designed feather motifs.
