THE DASH

Each year my local guild, Art Quilt Alliance, poses a member Challenge.  2019 was the "Poetry Challenge year" and I chose to work with a favorite poem called "THE DASH"
     The background is hand dyed with some of my favorite neutral colors.  Words from the poem were printed on pretreated fabric sheets run through my ink just printer and flat dyed to add some color.
     Yarn was couched on by machine and a few motifs cut from a painted non-woven fiber were added.  Beads and Yo-Yo's were added by hand for finishing touches.
